Digestive Enzymes and Stomach Problems

Morning everyone, our topic today will be about digestive enzymes and stomach problems. But before we get to that topic. Let's loosen things a bit with a joke which I got from the Internet. This joke was published by theJokeMaster and is titled "Old Age." Here it goes...

Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their activities had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play cards.

One day they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said, “Now don’t get mad at me….I know we’ve been friends for a long time….but I just can’t think of your name! I’ve thought and thought, but I can’t remember it. Please tell me what your name is.” Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and glared at her. Finally she said, “How soon do you need to know?”

Okay, now that things are loose. Let's now talk about stomach problems and digestive enzymes. Stomach problems can be a common digestive problem like constipation. Constipation is a stomach problem that makes you have a difficult or infrequent bowel movement. Your stool could be hard thus making it different to pass that you would need to strain. Or it could be that after you had a bowel movement, you would still feel like you need another one.

Stomach problems can also be hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are swollen veins that are found in the rectum and anus. Hemorrhoids can be three types. They can be internal hemorrhoids which involves the veins inside the rectum. They don't hurt but they bleed painlessly. They can also be prolapsed hemorrhoids, which is about the swollen veins stretching down until they come out as a bulge outside the anus. This type of hemorrhoids, can go back inside the rectum or you can gently push it back inside. Then the third type is external hemorrhoids, which involves the veins outside the anus. They are itchy, painful and crack and bleed.

Hemorrhoids are caused by the increase pressure in the veins of the anus and rectum which is cause by straining or trying to hard to have a bowel movement. Straining are caused by having constipation, diarrhea, obesity, heavy lifting and other activities that cause the veins to strain.

If you want to avoid such stomach problems, it might be advisable to take digestive enzyme supplements. Digestive enzymes are the one's responsible for breaking down food in our bodies and transforming them to energy. Lack of digestive enzymes result in constipation, obesity and other stomach problems.

As my article ends, let me leave you with a health quote from the Proverbs. " He who has health, has hope. And he who has hope, has everything." Bye!
