Do Plant Enzymes Survive Through Stomach Acid Part 1

http://www.takebackyourhealth.com

The National Enzyme Company (founded by Dr. Edward Howell) set out to prove once and for all that plant based enzymes survive the acid stomach. They conducted an experiment described on the web site www.enzymeuniversity.com. I will summarize their study here.

Analyzing digestion of the same meal, the researchers carried out four different tests: the meal without the digestive enzyme blend under perfect digestive conditions, the meal with the digestive enzyme blend under perfect digestive conditions, the meal without the digestive enzyme blend with 70% reduced gastric and intestinal secretion, and the meal with the digestive enzymes under the impaired digestion model.

Samples collected at various times during the digestion process were analyzed for glucose and nitrogen content, demonstrating carbohydrate and protein digestion, respectively. The enzymes improved the bioavailability of both proteins and carbohydrates in the lumen of the small intestine, not only under impaired digestive conditions, but also in healthy human digestion.

Glucose availability was increased four-fold in the “perfect” digestive system and by seven times in the impaired digestion model. Proteins were twice as bioavailable in the impaired digestive process. The activity of any digestive enzyme supplement in the small intestine “presupposes that the enzymes survive the acidity of the stomach.”

Can you Aid Digestion with Digestive Enzymes

Digestion is a technique that’s helped by digestive enzymes. These enzymes are both made in the dog’s pancreas but are also supplied when your dog eats foods like raw beef and veggies or consumes a specifically designed enzyme supplement. Since enzymes are annihilated in the cooking process, most tripe dog foods lack these necessary vitamins, amino acids, greasy acids, probiotics and digestive enzymes a dog wants to maintain perfect health.

Enzymes are mandatory for life! Everything that lives needs enzymes including humans, plants and animals. Enzymes are a protein-based substance found in each living cell. Significant Life-Enhancing Functions of Enzymes :

* helps digestive working * Anti-wrinkle properties.
* aids healing capabilities. * Assists respiration function. * aids glucose balance.
* Melts blood clots. * anti inflammatory properties. * Immune stimulator to increase natural resistance to illness The actions of enzymes help all of lifes processes and molecular integrity. Another effect of low enzyme activity is fermentation, the foundation for abdominal afflictions. This process is inspired when the diet contains carbs and sugars that remain in the abdominal tract instead of being soaked up into the blood. These unabsorbed substances represent the commonest source of intestinal gas and pain.

Malabsorption is the lack of ability of the cells of the body to get nutrient elements from the foodstuffs consumed. This inaction causes loss of vitamins, minerals, fiber and the caloric worth ( energy ) of foods, leading to cellular deprivation. Digestive malabsorption can occur as a consequence of the following condition : one. Inadequate time for huge food molecules ( protein, starch, fat ) to get broken down by explicit digestive enzymes. Two. Improperly-functioning Pancreas, incapable of delivering enough digestive enzymes to the small intestines to break down big molecules ; therefore, nutrient assimilation becomes minimal or nonexistent. Three. The development of a condition known as leaky gut syndrome in which the surface walls of the intestines lining become permeable, permitting undigested food to be leaded into the blood. The work of digestive enzymes is to break down food materials into elements that are absorbable and, additionally, produce substances that aid in emulsifying fats into forms that may be swiftly soaked up into the blood.

There are seven basic types of enzymes-with each having various sub-classifications and serving different functions. The primary types of enzymes involved in the digestive process include protease (for digesting proteins), amylase (for digesting carbohydrates) and lipase (for digesting fats).

Relief For Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

The answer depends on how long you’ve had symptoms and how severe they are. You might be having symptoms due to simple muscle strain or a vitamin deficiency. Or, you might have symptoms that are caused by tight muscles in your neck pressing on nerves that go to your hand, and then you have to find an appropriate muscle therapist. That can take time in itself. So, you might have relatively quick relief (but not instant) because the causes of your symptoms are simple to correct. But, if your carpal tunnel symptoms have multiple causes, it will take longer for you to get rid of them.

Systemic enzymes, on the other hand, are perfectly safe and free of dangerous side effects. They have no LD-50, or toxic dose. (6) Best of all, systemic enzymes can tell the difference between the good CIC’s and the bad ones. This is due to the fact that hydrolytic enzymes are lock and key mechanisms and their “teeth” will only fit over the bad CIC’s. So instead of preventing the creation of all CIC’s, systemic enzymes just “eat” the bad ones and in so doing, lower inflammation everywhere. With that, pain is also lowered.

Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Celebrex, Viox and the rest of the Non Steroidial Anti Inflammatory Drugs all work by keeping the body from making all the CIC’s. This ignores the fact that some CIC’s are vital to life, like those that maintain the lining of the intestines and those that keep the kidneys functioning! Not to mention the fact that they, along with acetaminophen, are highly toxic to the liver. Every year 20,000 Americans die from these over the counter drugs and another 100,000 will wind up in the hospital with liver damage, kidney damage or bleeding intestines from the side effects of these drugs.

Protein-eating enzymes deliver a bigger punch

http://www.takebackyourhealth.com

Nothing wrong with proteins as a digestive aid, but the protein-eating enzymes you take on an empty stomach are absorbed in your blood at a much higher rate and deliver a bigger punch against the degenerative diseases.
That’s why Pain Power is designed for an empty stomach. The label doesn’t even suggest you take it with meals (although there’s no reason you can’t). The main purpose of the product is to raise your blood enzyme level to fight inflammation and boost your immune system.

Protein-eating enzymes are the royal family among enzymes

http://www.takebackyourhealth.com

Protein-eating enzymes battle cancer, heart disease, pain, etc. most effectively when they circulate in your blood, not when they sit in your G.I. tract digesting your meals.

Alternative cancer doctors actually use intravenous (I.V.) injection of protein-eating enzymes directly into the patient’s blood. They bypass the digestive system altogether and send the enzymes right to the cancer.

This is not to say that enzymes with a meal are useless in fighting cancer, heart disease, pain etc. The enzymes you eat can pass through the intestinal wall into your blood.

In fact, an enzyme has a long life and digests a lot of food — or foreign matter in your blood — for a long time, until it finally gives out. An enzyme can go wherever it’s needed, whether in the G.I. tract or the rest of the body.

So some of the enzymes you take with a meal DO find their way into your blood stream where they battle cancer, heart disease, pain, etc. What’s more, your pancreas produces enzymes of its own and those find their way into your bloodstream if they don’t have to spend every minute of their time digesting your food.

So taking digestive enzymes with a meal should raise your blood-serum enzyme level. Then that will boost your immune system, relieve stress on your pancreas, and help you combat cancer, heart disease, pain etc. But…

The protein-eaters also devour immune complexes, or ICs, believed to be the culprits in pain, inflammation, and the whole miserable crew of inflammatory diseases from heart disease to MS to arthritis to lupus.

Nearly all the research and incredible personal stories of successful cancer treatment are based on the protein-eating enzymes. Not all enzymes. Not enzymes in general. Just the protein-eating enzymes.
NEARLY ALL the research covered so far in this Special Report about successful treatment of cancer, heart disease, pain, arthritis and inflammation IS BASED ON PROTEIN-EATING ENZYMES.

In fact, the list of diseases that proteases treat is so long let’s just call it “cancer, heart disease, pain, etc.”
