Well, no. They promised support for further studies, but instead they let the project get
bogged down in what Dr. Gonzalez politely calls “bureaucratic difficulties.”That’s how dedicated America’s medical establishment is to saving your life. But you don’t have to wait for them, because most alternative cancer doctors use some form of enzyme treatment as part of their cancer therapy.

How to Optimize Metabolic Enzyme Production

author Posted by: takebackyourhealth3 on date Feb 1st, 2009 | filed Filed under: Uncategorized

Systemic Enzymes

The body basically produces two types of enzymes: the metabolic enzymes and the digestive enzymes. Metabolic enzymes are responsible for the chemical reactions that occur throughout the body while digestive enzymes are responsible for breaking down food components and absorbing the nutrients.

However, while digestive enzymes may actually be introduced into the body by eating nutritious foods and taking supplemental enzymes, metabolic enzymes is needed to be produced by the body.

Enzymes are made up of amino acids. Amino acids are derived from protein foods. But in order for these amino acids to be made into enzymes, co-factors such as minerals are needed. These ingredients for producing enzymes are basically derived from food or from supplemental vitamins.

Digestive enzymes are responsible for breaking down these nutrients. In addition, since these enzymes can be supplemented, the production of metabolic enzymes can be optimized when digestive enzymes are introduced into the body.

Why Eating Nutritious Food may not be Enough

Although enzymes are present in fruits and vegetables, they are destroyed at a dry-heat temperature of 150 degrees Farenheit and a wet-heat temperature of 118 degrees Farenheit. Therefore, cooking vegetables under moderate or high temperatures diminishes the enzyme content.

And since most foods are cooked, the body is still not able to get a good amount of enzymes that can produce visible results. That is why taking supplemental enzymes are greatly beneficial for your health. There have been no known side effects in taking supplemental enzymes.

ADHD is a mental condition that arises during childhood and may be carried into adulthood. The cause of ADHD is unknown. However, it has been observed that ADHD tends to run in families, thus it is surmised that ADHD is hereditary. Another factor that experts believe may be a factor in the development of ADHD symptoms is the imbalance in brain chemicals or neurotransmitters. This can be a possible result of poor nutrition, substance abuse, and infections during pregnancy as well as toxin exposure during childhood.

There is no cure for this mental condition. However, the symptoms can be controlled, thus, helping patients cope with their environment. The treatment for ADHD includes a combination of drug medication and various psychosocial therapies such as behavioural modification, counselling, and social skills training.

Nutrition is also a factor in this condition. ADHD is a disorder that is likely caused by a deficiency in brain enzymes or neurotransmitters that are responsible for communicating messages various parts of the body, including hormones. To address the deficiency condition, it is logical that the body be provided with the proper components to produce enzymes.

Taking Digestive Enzymes can Optimize Your Health

author Posted by: takebackyourhealth3 on date Feb 1st, 2009 | filed Filed under: Uncategorized

Systemic Enzymes

The body is basically dependent on enzymes. Without enzymes, life would be non-existent. Within the human body, enzymes play two major roles: to facilitate the chemical reactions all throughout the body and to breakdown food components in order for the nutrients to be easily absorbed by the body.

But then, it is not unlikely that the body would encounter inefficiencies in producing the necessary enzymes. This inefficiency results to enzyme deficiency which can then cause various illnesses.

By taking supplemental digestive enzymes, not only is digestion improved, but the body is also able to absorb proper nutrients, enabling it to function better.

Knowing Your Digestive Enzymes

author Posted by: takebackyourhealth3 on date Feb 1st, 2009 | filed Filed under: Uncategorized

Systemic Enzymes

Digestive enzymes are produced within the GI tract. Digestive enzymes are present in the saliva produced by the glands in the mouth as well as in the stomach, pancreas, and in the small intestine.

The process of digestion begins in the mouth with the joined efforts of the saliva and mastication. Then, the chewed food travels down the esophagus to the stomach. Here, the digestion continues with the presence of a variety of digestive enzymes and hydrochloric acid.

A number of diseases can be attributed to insufficient digestion and absorption of nutrients. With the lack of nutrients, a number of diseases can develop alongside the weakening of the immune system. That is why eating raw fruits and vegetables and taking supplemental enzymes can truly be beneficial.

Digestive Enzymes – A Preventive Measure for Illnesses

author Posted by: takebackyourhealth3 on date Feb 1st, 2009 | filed Filed under: Uncategorized

Systemic Enzymes

There are more than 20 types of enzymes produced in the GI tract. And these are all responsible for breaking down the various nutrients presenting food. However, each type of digestive enzyme is only able to work on a specific food component and none other. Therefore, if there is deficiency of a particular digestive enzyme, certain illnesses may arise.

For example, if the body is experiencing a deficiency of the starch-digesting enzyme amylase, the body may have intolerance for foods high in starch, and various illnesses may arise. Moreover, with the deficiency of digestive enzymes not only is the body required to purge itself producing the needed digestive enzymes and in turn lessening the production of metabolic enzymes, but the body is also deprived of the raw ingredients needed to produce enzymes.

Treatments Based on John Beard’s Research

author Posted by: takebackyourhealth3 on date Feb 1st, 2009 | filed Filed under: Uncategorized

Systemic Enzymes

Beard’s realization of the analogy between cancer cells and the trophoblastic cells lead him to a greater discovery. In his mind, if trophoblastic cells are indeed similar to cancer cells, what then triggered the trophoblast cells to stop growing and become non-life threatening, life-sustaining organ.

His research brought him to the conclusion that the activation of the pancreas is the very reason why the trophoblastic cells stopped growing. Furthermore, he believed that the primary signalling factor in stopping placental growth must be the proteolytic protein-digesting enzymes. And with this, he further hypothesized that if indeed enzymes were responsible for inhibiting the growth of the placenta, then the same enzymes can stop the cancer cells from growing.

Nearly forty years after Beard’s death, William Donald Kelly established a treatment drawn from Beard’s theory. He treated cancer patients with a complex nutritional therapy based on Beard’s enzyme treatment.

In recent years, a cancer specialist in New York, by the name of Nicholas Gonzalez, began a case review on nearly 10,000 patient records of Kelley, and interviewed and evaluated over 500 of Kelley’s patients. These patients were diagnosed with advanced cancer and most of whom have enjoyed long term survival and or progressive regression of the disease. Eventually, Dr. Gonzalez began treating his cancer patients using the enzyme approach with advanced cancer patients based on the work of Beard and Kelley.

John Beard’s Analogy

author Posted by: takebackyourhealth3 on date Feb 1st, 2009 | filed Filed under: Uncategorized

Systemic Enzymes

John Beard was a Scottish biologist who did a thorough research on the human placenta. He was basically fascinated at the placenta and its life-supporting attributes.

It was in his research and fascination that he realized the similarities between cancer and the trophoblastic cells that envelope and nourish the embryo. He noticed that cancer cells, similar to trophoblastc cells are devoid of a distinct appearance which is typical of normal cells.

To expound, normal cells have distinct appearances, depending on the organ a cell belongs to. Both cancer cells and trophoblastic cells, Beard noticed, did not have this distinction. And just like cancer cells, trophoblastic cells have the capacity to invade break down tissue barriers and invade the uterus. And just as a tumor able to generate its own complex blood supply fuelling its growth, trophoblastic cells is also able to do so to support the growing embryo. And lastly, just as cancer cells grow without inhibition, the placenta also has the tendency to grow without restraint, resulting to choriocarcinoma.

However, it took several more years before his discoveries were truly recognized. His study eventually became the basis of the stem cell research.

How are Supplemental Enzymes Manufactured?

author Posted by: takebackyourhealth3 on date Feb 1st, 2009 | filed Filed under: Uncategorized

Systemic Enzymes

There are actually three sources for the ingredients used in producing supplemental enzymes. Animal enzymes are derived from the organs, particularly the pancreas, liver, or stomach of animals such as pigs, oxen, and cows. Animal enzymes resemble that of humans and are therefore prescribed by medical doctors for patients with pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer. An example of such prescription enzyme is Pancreatin, a pancreatic enzyme harvested from the pancreas of pigs.

Plant enzymes are derived from plants. Two examples are the bromelain and the papain enzymes. Bromelain is derived from pineapple, while papin is derived from papaya.

And lastly, there are also enzymes that are harvested through the fermentation of
micro-organisms. Microbial enzymes include the fungal and bacterial amylases, diastases, and others. Most enzyme supplements are made from plant and microbial enzymes. It is primarily because enzymes from these sources have broader ranges of pH, temperature, and substrate specificities. Not only can these enzymes work in the gastrointestinal system of mammals but they are most stable throughout the digestive tract. Meaning, these enzymes are safe and can be distributed without prescriptions.
